User Registration

I am having a problem with the user registration for posting comments. Once a user has signed up they cannot login. They keep getting an invalid password error. If I manually change the password it then works.

I am not able to reproduce this problem on my local 2.0.5 installation so far.

Is "Enable email verification" enabled or do you allow registrations without email verification?
