Unable to change value of "Sort main news by day?"

I was trying different settings under
Other=>Websites=>News.

I changed the setting of "Sort main news by day?" to "No". Everything went fine. But, of course, I really want it sorted by day - so I went to change it back.

Guess what? It won't accept changing it back!

I change it to "Yes", save the changes, and when I logout and log back in - it is still saying "No".

config.php is 777, and since I could change it to "no", I'm not sure why I can't change it back to "yes" now.

All the other values in the News section can be changed just fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Thank you!

I had noticed after posting that extrae10 was used for more than one element of a row. Great! Thank you again.

Please redownload the ZIP/TAR from the member area. You need to replace the following two files: cadmin/index.php and cadmin/mod_admin.php

Unable to change value of "Sort main news by day?"

My understanding is that the value for whether or not stories are sorted by date is stored in the esselbach_st_websites table.

The value for Website_mainnews is zero. So when I manually change it to "1" through SQL commands (UPDATE esselbach_st_websites SET website_mainnews = '1' WHERE website_id='1' LIMIT 1; )

This doesn't affect the site. (hmmm). The first time I go back into cadmin - the "yes" is still showing up there. If I change something else and save it, I get the very interesting message:
"Website successfully updated. You need to re-login to this control panel after you added email servers."

That's if I haven't touched anything to do with mailservers.

Then - if I go back into cadmin, the value is 'no' again, and a sql query shows it to be zero.

Hmmm.

Obviously I've done something wacky .... any help with what that is, would be appreciated.!

Thank you.
