Templates in 2.0
The template system has been completely changed. There is not much left from the old one except that the two main templates are still called site_header and site_footer.
Luckily, the new templates are easier to change after they are using CSS . I suggest that you wait until the first public test release is available.

Hi,
I currently run XSReviews.co.uk which uses PHPnuke as its CMS. I have heavily modified the theme and backend over the past year, but we are looking for something more powerful for the future.
We have decided on Esselbach as our choice, and are waiting for version 2 to be released to change the site over.
I was wondering whether the theming system will be changed dramatically, as I need to make the theme before the site can be launched (obviously). I would really like to start work on the new theme now, and simply copy/paste it into version 2 to make the change over quickly.
Is it possible for me to make the change now with the free version and it to be easily imported into the new version?
I'm currently running: Esselbach Storyteller CMS System (Free) 1.7.2 (released on Saturday 12th 2004f June 2004 02:40:08 PM). Is there are a new version that I can download for free?
