Suggestion: Which RSS articles to import base on their "publish date".

I was thinking about the amount of RSS articles the feed importer gathers and how some sites don't publish many articles per month (i.e. 7 or less) and how some publish a ton (i.e. ten a day). Anyways, CT will always pull the old articles that you might already have from three months ago from a site that doesn't publish many.

Here's the idea, can there be an option added into each RSS source page that will allow you to set the "publish expiration date"?

I was thinking about these expiration options:

1. Do not import stories older than 24 hours.
2. Do not import stories older than 7 days.
3. Do not import stories older than two weeks.
4. Do not import stories older than three weeks.
5. Do not import stories older than one month.

I'm an idea guy, not a smart coder guy or I'd try build this. Might be a great addition to the next CT update.

Thanks,

Well, it was a good idea. I just know that I get lots of older published articles that I must delete every time.

Thanks anyway.

Good idea, but this would only work with RSS feeds that have a date field.
