Actually, the edit option in the submission queue is not meant to approve/disapprove news stories.
Instead you should always use the process feature (Click here to process them all) to go through the submission queue.

It would be helpful if there were a 'rejected' and 'approved' buttons inside each article's properties in the 'submission queue'. I know you can tell the 'queue status' which it is, but it how be more helpful to add the buttons.
That way when I go to the article's properties to modify or find out if you need to reject the article or not, you just have to hit either button to send it to the approved or rejected article list.
It would be helpful too once you hit the rejected/approved button that CT didn't ask you either or not you want to proceed.
Just trying to take a few steps out of the process.
