Storyteller CMS 1.5.1 Freeware Released

A new freeware version of Esselbach Storyteller CMS is now available

BBWrapper users: In order to use this release with any of the bulletin boards, you need to download and install the new updated BBWrappers

New in this release:

WYSIWYG editor
An optional WYSIWYG editor based on htmlArea 3.0 is now available. This editor is compatible with Internet Explorer 5.5+ and Mozilla 1.3+ based browsers.

Outlook fix
The email headers will now display proper in Outlook and Outlook express

Alternative caching method
Storyteller CMS comes now with two different caching options:

1) memory/file cache
This option offers the best performance. This is highly recommended on dedicated servers with installed  Truck MMCache. However, some servers have problems with this setting.

2) file cache only
This should work with any server.

Story category field
The story category name is now available in the $insert[story_category] variable on the story and story_printer templates

The following files has been changed/added since 1.4.1 freeware:

main directory: core.php, login.php, logout.php, printer.php, story.php, upanel.php

cadmin: admincore.php, index.php, mod_admin.php, mod_faq.php, mod_news.php, mod_pages.php, mod_words.php, wysiwyg (new)

images: wysiwyg

Installation and upgrades:
/cadmin/cinstall.php for fresh installations or upgrades from Storyteller Basic 1.0 - 1.3
/cadmin/cupgrade.php for upgrades from Storyteller Freeware 1.4
