Storyteller CMS 1.2 Released

Storyteller CMS 1.2 has been released to the members area.

New in 1.2:

Installer permission check
The installer is now checking permissions of the directories and files

Reformatted admin panel code
The admin control panel PHP code is now cleaner

Improved search engine
The search function is now using the fulltext search feature of MySQL 4. This requires MySQL 4.0.12 or higher.

Enhanced template search and replace
The search and replace area is now larger and supports also Perl regular expression. The enhanced template editor is also included in the new 1.2 freeware version.

Comments quote
The news comments function has now a quote feature

News window
An open news website feature has been added to the XML/RSS news importer

Email notification
Email notifications are now available for the news/filequeue and the trouble ticket system.

The following files has been changed/added since 1.1:

To upgrade from 1.1 or 1.0: run cadmin/cupgrade.php

MySQL 4 users need to reindex the search index (Other => Search Index) after the upgrade.
