Smilies in news comments?

Do we have smilies in news comments? I can see: Disable smilies in this post. option but can't figure out where to enable those.

I am aware of this. An enhanced comments form is planned for one the future releases after the current template set is now frozen for the final release.

I know that but users doesn't know what kind of smilies are there because they can't see smilies in post comment form.

The smilies are already active. You can configure them under Manage Smilies in the main menu.
