When running check for pad updates, I reached this PAD which upon pressing Edit entry redirects to file-portal.net, instead of to the next entry.
 http://www.networklookout.com/pad/nmemployees.xml
Ignore entry does the same.

I've talked to them and it seems you were right...this time (ahem). I have disabled modsec for the domain. If you continue to experience issues we will require steps to recreate the problem so we can troubleshoot. Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue on any of my test machines. I tried it so far with my OS X MAMP dev server, CentOS, and two Debian machines running mod_php, mod_ruid2, suPHP, and mod_fcgid.

My best guess is that this problem is caused by mod_security or another security plugin installed on your server after it happends as soon "--" is used in the license agreement field (second tab). Example:
****
-- License Agreement for Registered Version
of Net Monitor for Employees --
****

As a workaround just remove all "--" from that field. Example:
****
License Agreement for Registered Version
of Net Monitor for Employees
****

Maybe it is the best you open a ticket with your webhosting company and point out this issue?

Have you fixed this yet? It's been almost two months already that I can't check for updates...unless of course I delete the records that cause problems, which I shouldn't have to do.

No, I mean the official support system. You can open a ticket by submitting an email to the support address listed in the members area.

I can't reproduce this problem on my local installation. Can you open a support ticket?
