Questions about Storyteller Free to be upgraded to Contenteller
The release candidates will be also available as zip / tar.gz archives. Any download that is freely available on this website can be used without buying a license.
Is there any way to install the release canidates using sftp? And would it be in violation of the license to use it in this way with out buying it first?

I don't mind waitng, but if I could use the RC's, and they are relatively stable I would rather go that route. What I have done so far is add content into the CMS that would be for the other sites, but clicked the hold back box so that they are not published right now. So that I can direct them to the proper site when ready.

The Storyteller import script is currently not supporting import/merge from multiple databases. It should be not too hard to modify the script to doing this, but one of the problems are the different news id’s.
I am planning to release the first release of Contentteller later this month. Perhaps you wait until this release and then launch your new site? The release candidates are almost identically with the final version.

Right now, I'm using the free version of storyteller to run a small website. We are in the planning stages to open up some sister sites, and I want to use the free version on them. Once contentteller is released I intend to buy a license to it and run it for the different sister sites.
I'm assuming that I will have to run 3 different databases for the 3 websites, but will that mess me up when I buy the contentteller license and try and move them to a unified database, but mostly seperate content on each site? The sites will be focusing on different topics and subjects, but there will be some overlap and shared news. On top of that I run a vbulletin forums, and want to have a shared account system for everyone. So they sign up on one of the websites, and they are able to log in to varying degrees on the rest.
Or do I need to just wait until ContentTeller is released to try something along that line? I would like to launch now, but I understand if I can't without a paid license.
