It is not really possible to compare v1.x with v2.0. Version 2.0 is basically a new product with a complete new and modern codebase from scratch while the original Storyteller CMS 1.x codebase is over 4 years old.

Hi:
I'm currently looking around for a CMS, and have a few questions regarding the future development of EsselBach. I've looked at the current version plus tried out the freeware, and it looks like a solid product, though unfortunately lacking in some features I will need in a CMS. Regarding the upcoming 2.0, just wondering about the following:
1) Will it allow members to upload certain file types (ie: images, .zip) along with their regular text submission, to be approved and displayed by the admin?
2) What are some key feature improvements we can expect from v2.0?
This will help me better determine whether Esselbach will be for me, at least 2.0.
Thanks,
