I am afraid not with the 1.x series
However, the next major release (2.0) comes with a revamped category management.

I wonder if it's possible to have news submitted to more than one category at same time?
Basically,
I want the option to write a News Article and have the option to have it written to more than one Category. But in doing so, only appearing once on the Main Page.
For example (since I intend running a media news site)
I have categories - Satellite, Cable, Terrestrial, Radio. I want to write a story that is relevant to more than one Category. So when choosing a category, I'd like to be able to choose, for example "Satellte+Cable" and the story would end up in both categories for Archive purposes but only appear once on homepage.
This has been possible with both Coranto and Newspro though these aren't total website solutions. So basically I want a good CMS that can do what Coranto could do.
Any help appreciated.
