I have found the problem,
My Root folder settings where changed to 777 giving 777 access to ALL my files. which now has been changed back to normal

I dont have an Index.cgi
I'll have a look at that blog and get in touch with my Host.

Interesting. After a little research I discovered that this error message is related to the server configuration of your webhosting provider (Easynet).

Check the root of your website for a file called index.cgi. Remove it and that should fix the problem. It did for me anyway.

I have tried uploading all the files again, reinstalling the database. and chmodding all the needed files to 755 and back to 777 again.

im getting the error
A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.
i have changed nothing with the CMS, and am curious to know what has happend.
i can login to the cadmin without any problems. but when viewing the site i get the error.
please help.
