# of reviews in category not right

The main Review category on my site is not updating the correct number of reviews. It says there are 33 reviews in the "Memory" category but if you add all the reviews up it is over 10 more than 33. Is there an explanation of why it is doing this?

No, unfortunately this is a limitation because of the current way in which categories work in 1.8. The upcoming version 2.0 has a complete rewritten category function, which have no longer this limitations.

Is there an easy fix or am I just stuck with it until the next version?

The current review script is only counting articles within a 2 level deep (e.g. categories and subcategories). Articles outside of this range (such as http://insanetek.com/review.php?cat=93) are not counted on the category main page.
