Newsletters
I'm not really sure about the links being a problem. Links in plain text get converted to hyperlinks by the mail client. At least that's what happens in Vista Mail, and seeing as it's just Outlook Express souped up, I think it would be the same in Outlook Express. I don't know about other mail apps, but it makes sense they would behave the same way.

The current newsletter system has no template support but this is some I could add in one of the future releases.
Right now it is only possible to send the newsletter either in HTML or plain text after it would be more difficult to convert HTML properly to plain text.
Here a more critical example:
This would become in plain text:
See the problem? The link would disappear in the plain text version.

Phillip, any improvements down the line for the newsletter module? I'm specifically interested in being able to use a template for it. Right now you'd probably have to edit the template in Dreamweaver or something and paste the entire HTML code in CT to send it in HTML. Also, I don't think it supports mixed content (HTML/plain text) to be displayed according to user preferences, does it?
Of course I think it would be better and I'd be OK with you adding these improvements for a later revision of CT, as it's been years in the making already and starting to add this now would delay even more already.
