We're looking at getting a newsletter facility setup for our website. I noticed in CT admininstration there is a "Mailing List" section.

I've tried to have a play with this to find out how it works. How does the newsletter get sent to a user? I've added a dummy user and send the newsletter to them but if there is no email address to even allow it to go to that person how would it be delivered?

Basically I'd just like to know how it works the newsletter/mailing list and see if we could possibly use this.

You need to add users that are registered in your forums.

Basically I'd just like to know how it works the newsletter/mailing list and see if we could possibly use this.

Basically, you add a mailing list and the users can subscribe to that list from your frontpage.
