I've been designing CT on my Xenforo test install.
CT is in its own directory called \library

When it's ready can I just switch it to link with my live XF install?
I have someone who can do database changes for me.

It doesn't matter about any content as I have only put in test articles.
What matters is the layout and colours, all the settings and a bit of css coding.

I don't really want to do all this again.

You just need to change the database name to your live install under Manage Forum Integration
