Mod_Rewrite question
Yes, an online demo is planned after the final version of 2.0 is available
The new version comes with a different template set. The new template set look similar to the old one, but is using XHTML with CSS. This means you can easily change the appearance of the templates by altering the stylesheet. A PDF manual is planned and will follow most likely later this year.
Once 2.0 is available will you be offering an online Demo via esselbach.com? Storyteller is a great CMS and if I can have the Vbulletin comments integration, the full mod_rewrite then you will be adding on a new customer in the near future - I have been waiting for 2.0 since november or december of last year and hopefully it will be upon us this year sometime.

Also another thing I would like to see and perhaps some others would as well - is a new template style - keep the older one in the system but create a more unique style more in touch with what a person or company may be looking for and possibly a PDF manual on how to easily customize the look and feel of StoryTeller.... would this be a possibility for 2.0?

Mod_Rewrite question
Both is needed in 1.x (see http://www.esselbach.com/thread.php?id=320 for instructions), while 2.0 will automatically modify the output for SEO.

Mod_Rewrite question
Would this be a mere rewrite code inside the mod rewrite or would I also have to rewrite some code inside of the templates?

I don't know how 2.0 will handle that but in current version that can be made quite easily:

Mod_Rewrite question
Actually, the urls already look like this way in the current 2.0 development version

Hi,
I'm still up for purchasing a copy of this but I am waiting for version 2 before I actually make such a commitment to this software.
One thing I want to do is to change the way the mod_rewrite - rewrites urls - instead of being given: article1.html or Post1.html
I would like to be able to have the urls rewritten such as:
name-of-article.html or name-of-post.html and each page number will be added in - name-of-article2.html
Would this be possible and if so, how would one go about rewriting the urls?
