Migrating to a new host?
Not really. Just download this script http://www.esselbach.com/scripts/cfix.txt
Then rename it to cfix.php, edit the configuration setting with an editor and upload it to your new /cadmin directory. Then run the script in a browser to rebuild config.php with the new configuration.
No, after the timestamps are stored in separate files.
This may entail a change of user name and db names, and since the config is encrypted, I'll run into trouble.

Also, won't the timestamp of all the templates change and so it will appear like they have all been modified?

What are the problems I may encounter? My 1.8 based site is due for rebilling this month, and since I have a reseller acount I would like to transfer the domain over to the reseller account.
