Mail Import Functionality
Possibly within the next 2-3 months but that depends on the remaining bugs.
The current preview releases are mainly for testing purpose. I would wait until the first release candidate before using Contentteller on a production website. Also, the release candidates are visible source and will no longer require IonCube/Zend installed on the webserver.
Do you have an estimated date of release for ContentTeller ?
I know lots of people ask you and your busy with support as well, but any kind of idea when it would be ready ?

Do you recommend I try the IONCUBE version in the meantime or not ?
Or should I just wait for the first release next month ....

The email import will import the entire information in the email to the news queue. You need to manually edit the imported news stories and remove any unneeded information.
If the news import were the most important feature for you then I would definitely wait until the release of the first release candidate of Contentteller next month. Contentteller’s news import/processing features are much better.

Mail Import Functionality
Thanks so much for the information provided so far. My only query is the Mail Import functionality and how it works. You say it will import all emails to the news queue. My question therefore is to do with the information on the email itself. Does each mail contain the Title of the article, the date, time, snippet of article, core article and link from where the article was sourced ? And therefore does the Mail Import utility import EVERYTHING of the above parameters into the StoryTeller CMS product and hence onto each page.

Yes, the POP3 import is only available in the licensed version
No, the mail import will act as an email client and will import all emails to the news queue.
Yes
There is not much to setup. In order to use the mail import feature you need to set a valid POP3 email server login in the admin section.
I think http://www.lobenschuss.net is the closest.

2> How does it work, does it actually take the entire RSS thread / news or just the small clip and then a link to the actual RSS source ?

3> Is it quite easy to set this up ?

4> Do you get any FAQs / Manuals / Help with the setup of the StoryTeller system especially this Mail Import function?

5> Is there a default StoryTeller homepage, what does it look like ? Are there any screenshots, as I cant seem to find any ?
