Limiting user privileges
Anyone who has access to cadmin is an admin. The restricted mode are limiting only the abilities to edit other files but don't prevent that the user can post for example HTML.

So if I want users who manually submitted a file or pad to update their listings, they have to be admins?

This is also available for the files module. However, I wouldn't give any program author admin access to your site after admin users can also use HTML in their submissions.
Does the same apply to every module? I'm specifically interested in users who submit files only being able to edit their own submissions (for manual submissions).

Thanks for the prompt response Philipp. For a minute I thought that was only available on the news module, but that's clearly not the case

Hi Philipp,
I'm currently expanding my staff and I'm worried about the access reviewers will have over the whole content.
I know I can limit them to only see the reviews module within the CMS, however is there an easy way for me to limit access so they cannot edit or delete reviews after those have been published? And/or limiting their privileges over articles they did not create but some other editor?
Your help is immensely appreciated with this one (as always).
Thanks
Julio
