License violations

It comes to my attention that a few sites currently violating the license agreement by removing the “Powered by” notice in the footer without buying a branding free option. It doesn’t matter how heavily the script has been modified as long the website is using Storyteller / Contentteller as backend engine.

However, it is allowed to alter the “Powered by” notice to fit better into your website. At minimum you are allowed to change the notice to “Powered by Storyteller”. It is also possible to use a button instead of text. This option is under Other/Config => "Powered by" as text in cadmin.

Alternatively, there is a branding free upgrade available in the members area for a one time fee of $150. With this option you are allowed to remove the “Powered by” notices on all your sites that running under the upgraded license.
