Index Page two, and so on...
The problem are the rotating links. For example, on this page - http://www.ntcompatible.com/oldnews2500.html - are today the news stories from February 18, 2001. Tomorrow the same link will show the news stories for February 19, 2001. Basically, around 3000 pages are rotating each day and this is the main problem.
Contenteller is designed to be search engine friendly out of the box as much as possible and use in many sections static links that will never change. There are only a few exceptions like the tags sections.

Hmmm I think this is not the first time I hear you say it's not SEO friendly, can you explain why or give some links for me to read?
IMHO if it's good for the reader, it's good for the search engine (or eventually is) because it's natural and done with a good purpose.

No, after this feature is not fully search engine friendly. Instead Contentteller is using enhanced archive pages for older news stories.

Thanks Philipp, that worked beautifully.
Is this something you have prepared to offer in Content Teller?
Happy holidays!

I assume you changed news to news2 as well? In this case you need create a /cache/news2 directory.

Hi Philipp,
I'm trying to add page functionality to the news index (sort of like a blog where you can browse through older news on a page2, 3, and so on). What I did was try to replicate the index.php file but changing all variables to so I won't rewrite the cache of the original index.php.
I thought I may be able to figure it out if I only replicate for making a fixed number of pages (say four) and if I fix the number of latest stories per page on the file itself.
Right now however I'm stuck in this error:
"Error: Can't write mainnews2 cache"
I know you are concentrating on ContentTeller releases but because that still won't be ready for production environments I suspect for at least six more months, this is something I may want to pull off in the meantime and please my users.
Thanks
Julio
