Importing news articles question.

I have a problem. I have probably a few thousand reviews with links on my old non-CT site. They are not in a database, just text with hyperlinks.

Is there a way to do a batch file to import each review link into a new article and news channel or do I have to copy & paste each review into a new article?

If there's a way this will save me a massive amount of beta site development time.

Well, it was a shot in the dark idea that I had to ask.

It is possible to write a script that extract links from HTML pages but there are a few problems.

1) It would try to import any link on any page
2) Everything would be unsorted

Honestly, I don't think that this is a real time saver after you had to clean up the news database after the import.
