Feature request

You said to report bugs and feature requests using the
Project Tools
but I get the message:
you do not have permission to access this page.

Anyway, the file module revision still seems to have some problems or maybe you didn't include these mods:

As I posted before, the PAD update script will only get update related information but not descriptions etc. after the fields are usual filled at this point in the database. Files that are in this table are already live on the website, so it very unlikely that half of the information are missing.

The script was not made to handle data that was added with an unofficial 3rd party tool. The only way to get the PAD updater working that way you like is a modification of admincheckpadupdates.php.

Here a modified admincheckpadupdates.php that overwrite everything with the data in the PAD file. You need to place it in the /cadmin/files directory.



Maybe it should include the custom fields as well?

had some mods you made for me which, by looking at them in a comparison tool, it seems you didn't include in RC3. I could probably do it, but... you're the professional. i'm not sure I would not make a mess Smiling Face

Let me know if you need help with these.

OK Philipp, I need your help with these. At least until I can populate the database with the files from the ST database.

Many modifications can be now done with the template system. Additional modules or extensions can be also included with the new module plug-in system. However, altering an existing admin module is something that can't be done with plug-ins or templates.

Yes for two of them it might be, but one of them has 80 to 90 major differences. You said Contenteller would no longer require having to go into the code for this kind of changes. It's gonna be real unpleasant having to pester you to update my files for every new bugfix.
