I now have number of of duplicates. One such example is in the attached file. CT won't allow me to submit duplicates through cadmin, but apparently, even if a file has already been submitted by a user through the front end and then processed by me, if it is in the queue again and I approve it again, it won't trigger the duplicate check.

Has been the duplicate submissions submitted over the submit file/pad form or are they imported from the ASP repository?

Aargh, "The provided PAD source already exists in the database".

I am still getting duplicate submissions, and I when I try to process them from the queue, I get the quoted error. Update 8 is installed.

Actually, I was not talking about their PAD submissions. This company is one of a few Chinese companies that are doing forum spam:  http://www.macworld.com/article/1153685/speaking_spammers.html

Aiseesoft are well known spammers. Not sure if it is a good idea to list their software at all.


Aargh, "The provided PAD source already exists in the database".

As for Aiseesoft, I don't know, maybe they're just persistent Grinning Face Download.com has 97 listings from them. At least they have the decency to use just one username for submitting applications (at least from what I can tell so far), unlike others.
