Does Storyteller CMS standard word better when installed into the vBulletin data
Ok, thanks.
FYI: I'm not certain that that is clear in your online installation instructions.

Does Storyteller CMS standard word better when installed into the vBulletin data
There should be no problem. I even recommend that both scripts (Storyteller CMS and vBulletin) use their own separate databases.

Phillip,
I've been pushing on without sleep for longer than is probably good, so please forgive me if this question is worded poorly.
We are performing a reinstall of vBulletin, Storyteller CMS standard, and PhotoPost with help from some good people at our hosting provider.
In their attempt to organize the 3 packages, they have created 3 separate databases. Now, I know that PhotoPost is self contained, and that though it will utilize the vBulletin security tables (users, usergroups, etc.) it does not require a prior installation of vbulletin.
However, I do not know if it's a good idea separate vBulletin & Storyteller. My only experience was when they were both in the same database.
Do you think this would make much difference? Any adivce?
We are extending and integrating the vBulletin "usergroups" table with quite a few additions. Is here any problem
Thanks,
B.
