I must say that I have hard time with design. I have several issues with saving my .css and layout. Ftp templates, clear cache, export import etc. I work fx. 3 hours on .css and loose everything when i clear cache or import from php/html files or edit through remplates editor in admincp. I will say that is a bit complicated.

What is safest way to do css and design and not loose it.

Clear cache is not changing any template or CSS. This function will only clear the HTML cache where the cached output is stored.

Are you using "Import Template Set from HTML/PHP files" or "Update Template Set from HTML/PHP files"? The second option will overwrite an existing template set with the templates in the /templates directory.

Are you using "Sync Templates"? This function is syncing all template sets against each other and will overwrite older templates.
