Contentteller Pro 1.0 Preview 2
All modules including the new files/download module are rewritten from scratch, so you can hardly compare Storyteller and Contentteller after both code bases are completely different and have even a different feature set.
The coolest enhancement over the old download module is most likely the PAD updater, which allows you to track all updates automatically.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
I assume you work closely with the guys at Majorgeeks, are there any specific 'cool' enhancements you are working for the downloads module besides what you have mentioned?
I haven't run any CT previews yet btw.

Quite well. Preview 3 should be out early next week.
The new preview release is a major finish up release; expect some enhancements and new features here and there. I am also planning to run a copy of it on Warp2Search
If there are no showstoppers, there will be a final finish up release (Preview 4) and after then I will start releasing the release candidates.

Ok, I've got no issue with that, I just wanted to know the right steps to install these builds..

Just delete both includes/config.php and includes/install.php. The installer will now overwrite the existing installation.

let me be the first to say thank you. Nice to see you go for fast releases now.

Contenteller Pro 1.0 Preview 2 is now available for download. This release contains bug fixes and enhancements over the Preview 1 release from last week.
This version introduces also a new module named Acquire. Acquire is an import script to convert an existing CMS database (currently Storyteller 1.x) to Contentteller.
Other notes: An upgrade from the first test/preview release is not supported. An upgrade script will come in Preview 3 or 4.
