I was using 1.4 CMS freeware before this and now just overwrited the php files, and new mysql files. The one I just installed is v 1.7 downloade from here http://www.esselbach.com/area.html.

I just updated the CMS file and it's working. But anyway what kind of error was it, somekind of cache error, cookie problem or error with the script?

I tried the current version on multiple installations but can not reproduce this problem. Can you provide a link to your installation?

The comment box is enabled. A user could see it, but after writing his comments when he click on submit it simply redirects to comments.php file but there it says "There are current no comments". It should display the comment user just submited right? ;(

how do u mean? did u set Enable comment-->YES?
cux then there will be a comment forum below the news item

Iin the news there is a feature to post comments. But when a registered user tries to post a comment it redirects too comments.php and there is no comment displayed
