I have two questions on Categories - not sure if you prefer two posts?

1. Types of components.
It is a complicated structure from the user (visitor) point of view to have categories of Pages (content)/ categories of Articles/ categories of News/ categories of Links/ categories of ....

What the user wants is categories of Topic 1 and Topic 2
These can hold links to a variety of components - Articles, News, Links whatever.
That's how a visitor thinks in terms of finding things.

Can you code this?


2. Duplicate categories.
In any category based structure there are always items that really belong in more than one Category. The way I've seen this handled successfully is two ways. Either we tag items - without working with categories much, instead keywords.
Or we can create a second duplicate ()virtual) item which looks like a normal one, but it locates under another category. But when you click it, it opens the original item.
