When trying to add a new snippet:

Query: SELECT templatelang_set FROM esselbach_ct_templateslangs WHERE templatelang_id = '1'
Error: 1054 Unknown column 'templatelang_set' in 'field list'

Will this be long? Are you still sticking to your schedule of having a 6th preview and then two release candidates?

Most likely next week. Yes, preview 6 is the last preview release before the release candidates. I don't know how many release candidates will be necessary though.

Anywhere I can see this in action?

The inital version of this language pack is included in preview 5. You need to choose "Deutsch" as install language during install.

By the way how (well) will this work? I want to use CT for at least one site which will not be in English (so it needs to be localized completely, like the registration confirmation and all).

Quite well. The German version of Contentteller based on a language pack.
