article source section problem

I have deleted the default source websites and added my own. The problem is that when I go to 'import now' articles from the deleted sources appear and not the one's I've added.

'manage sources' only contains the sites I've added.

I'm not sure what is wrong

The example sites got properly imported?

Did you add the full path to the RSS feed in the "Hostname/Newsfeed URL" field? What happened if you select "Import Now"? Are there any error messages?

are there some sites that don't work?

I mean I have added some sources but nothing gets imported. I leave username, newsgroup and password blank and use [email]root@localhost.com[/email] as the email

is it something to do with the RSS feed?

Did you import articles from the original sources before removing them?

The news queue will always keep all previously imported articles. You need to either delete or reject them.
